This business exists because too many North Londoners have been stung by the same racket. You call a "local" locksmith. Locks are picked open non-destructively in around 80% of jobs, and drilling only ever happens with your verbal consent on the doorstep. Payment is on the doorstep, after the door is open. What we will and won't do

We will:

• Quote you the exact price on the phone before we leave our base.
• Turn up in a reasonable timeframe, usually 20 to 40 minutes door-to-door.
• Attempt non-destructive entry first on every single job.
• Ask for verbal consent before drilling anything.
• Fit a BS Kitemark 3★ anti-snap cylinder as standard on any drill job, for a flat £120.
• Guarantee parts for 12 months.
• Take card, cash or bank transfer on the doorstep, after the work is done.

We won't:

• Quote a low number on the phone and a high number on arrival.
• Drill a perfectly pickable lock just because drilling is faster.
• Take payment before the job is finished.
• Claim "MLA approved" without being an MLA member.
• Claim insurance or vetting we don't have in writing. (When they're live, they'll go on this page.)
• Ask you to pay into a personal bank account named something other than TT Locksmith Ltd.

How to check you've got the right locksmith
